Antiemetic agent.

The improved formula of the drug reduces pain in animals at administation as compared to similar products.

It is easily absorbed from the site of administration and quickly reaches maximum concentration in blood plasma.

Ingredients: Shieria® contains maropitant citrate monohydrate as an active ingredient, 10 mg per 1 ml, as well as excipients: benzyl alcohol, sulfobutyl ether of β-cyclodextrin sodium, and water for injections.

Description: Transparent liquid from colorless to light yellow color.

Purpose: Shieriya® is used in cats and dogs to prevent nausea and vomiting of various genesis, including parvovirus enteritis, as well as during chemotherapy or transportation (seasickness syndrome). Maropitant citrate monohydrate, a component of the drug, effectively prevents vomiting of both central and peripheral genesis, and improves recovery from anesthesia caused by the use of μ-opiate receptor agonists.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug, age under 8 weeks for dogs and under 16 weeks for cats. Use with caution in animals with heart failure, liver conditions, and pregnancy. If necessary, the drug is used under the supervision of a veterinarian based on a risk/benefit assessment of its administration.

Dosage and how to use:
 Shieria® is administered to animals subcutaneously or intravenously in the following dosages:

Dogs, cats: 1 mg per kg body weight (1 ml/10 kg), once a day for not more than 5 days.

When administered intravenously, the drug should be administered in 1 to 2 minutes without prior dilution.

Storage life of Shieria ®in the appropriate storage conditions in the closed original package: 3 years from the date of production, 90 days after vial opening.

Regumiral, 2 ml

Easily absorbed from the injection site.

It rapidly reaches maximum concentration in blood plasma (high binding to plasma proteins, up to 76%).

Ingredients: Regumiral contains ondansetron hydrochloride dihydrate as an active ingredient, 2 mg per 1 ml, as well as excipients: citric acid in monohydrate form, sodium citrate for injection, sodium chloride, water for injection.

Description: Colorless or light yellow transparent liquid.

Purpose: Regumiral is used in cats and dogs for the prevention and elimination of nausea and vomiting of various etiologies. Ondansetron, a component of the drug, provides highly selective blocking of central (trigger zone chemoreceptors, vomiting center) and peripheral serotonin 5-HT3 receptors, and, as a result, prevents vomiting.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity of the animal to components of the drug, pregnancy of the animal; Regumiral must not be used incombination with apomorphine.

Dosage and how to use:

Regumiral is administered intravenously or intramuscularly in the following dosages:

Chemotherapy: half an hour before the treatment in an amount of 0.5 - 1.0 mg per kg body weight of the animal (0.25 - 0.5 ml/kg).

Administration for other purposes: 0.1 - 0.2 mg per kg body weight (0.05 - 0.01 ml/kg) 1 - 2 times a day

Storage life of Regumiral in the appropriate storage conditions in the closed original package: 3 years from the date of production, 28 days after vial opening.
